Shannon Moot serves as Vice President of Advancement for Lutheran Social Services of the Southwest (LSS-SW), bringing extensive experience in nonprofit leadership, strategic development, relationship building, and organizational growth.

Throughout his career, Shannon has focused on connecting people, organizations, and resources to create meaningful community impact. His leadership experience spans nonprofit operations, fundraising and development, community engagement, strategic partnerships, and data-driven performance improvement.

He believes successful advancement is about more than fundraising; it is about building lasting relationships with donors, volunteers, community partners, businesses, churches, and the people an organization serves.

In his role at LSS-SW, Shannon is focused on strengthening the organization’s advancement strategy, expanding philanthropic support, developing strategic partnerships, increasing community awareness, and creating sustainable resources that allow LSS-SW to serve more individuals and families throughout the Southwest.

Shannon is driven by a simple belief: when people are connected to a mission they believe in, extraordinary things can happen.
