The Rev. Kevin Meyer serves as Director of Philanthropic Engagement for Lutheran Social Services of the Southwest, where he has the joy of helping generous people connect their values with work that brings care, dignity, and hope to their neighbors. An ordained ELCA pastor with more than 30 years of ministry experience, Pastor Kevin has spent the past seven years inviting donors to find meaningful ways to participate in the compassionate work of LSS-SW.

At his core, Pastor Kevin loves helping individuals and families turn their values into action, whether by connecting generosity to meet the immediate needs of individuals facing difficult situations or by helping design legacy gifts that will support compassionate care for generations to come. He works closely with members of the Legacy Society and the Creating Community Society, whose generosity is quietly transforming lives across Arizona.

For Kevin, philanthropy is at its best when it grows from genuine relationships, shared purpose, and a desire to serve others. Outside of work, he is a husband, a proud father of three adult children, and the somewhat willing servant of a couple of beloved pets. He considers it a privilege to help others build a lasting legacy of generosity, hope, and opportunity.
