Welcome to Lutheran Social Services of the Southwest
Since 1970, Lutheran Social Services of the Southwest (LSS-SW) has ministered to the urgent needs of people in communities throughout Arizona and the southwest. A willing heart, a helping hand, and a sense of serving the community with joy are reflected in the quality human care services LSS-SW is proud to deliver.
Lutheran Social Services of the Southwest is uniquely qualified to offer diverse services that help individuals and families remove barriers and live more fulfilled lives.
Programs are developed and services delivered through partnerships with Lutheran congregations, other faith-based and community organizations, and federal and state government entities.

COMMUNITY Development
Assists individuals, couples, children and families in making positive life changes.
Refugee & Immigration Services
Welcomes and assists refugees to establish new lives in Arizona.
DISASTER SERVICES
Aids disaster survivors, and trains
congregations, groups, and community organizations to prepare for and respond to emergencies and/or disasters.
LIFE COUNSELING NETWORK
Offers counseling and support to
individuals and families during times of emotional distress. Provides counseling to people from all walks of life to help them overcome life’s challenges.
Transition Services
Moving into adulthood is a daunting task for most people. For youth who have been in foster care this transition is even more challenging.
Youth Services
Providing quality programs for youth, to foster healthy decision-making.
