Connie Phillips, MSW joined Lutheran Social Services of the Southwest as President and CEO in February 2015. Phillips has overall responsibility for the organization, leading an Executive Team made up of the Chief Finance Officer, the Chief Programs Officer, and the Chief Development and Strategy Officer. In this role, Connie partners with the Board of Directors to define the mission, vision, and strategy of LSS-SW and to create operational excellence and community partnership.  

Before joining LSS-SW, Conne spent her career in not-for-profit Executive and Senior leadership in the fields of mental health, social services, and domestic violence 

Connie holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from ASU and a Bachelor’s degree from Grand Canyon University. Connie has always known she was called to ministry and has found her place serving our vulnerable neighbors.
