Refugee children's services intern
Time-Frame: Intern will ideally begin with the school year, and serve until December. Service may be extended into the Spring Semester.
Details: The Children's Services Intern will assist in providing access to education for refugee youth. This may include enrolling youth in programs, assisting with transportation and interpretation, planning and chaperoning field trips and other events, and supervising after school and summer programming as needed. The intern will receive training from the Children's Services Specialist, as well as attend a LSS-SW Volunteer Orientation. A Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.
