Refugee Mentor coordinator

Location: Phoenix
Hours: Mentor Coordinator Intern will serve 15-20 hours per week for a minimum of 6 months. Work will be completed at Refugee & Immigration Office during business hours, Monday through Friday. This position may require some evening availability for trainings.
Details: This intern will coordinate matches between newly-arrived refugees and volunteer mentors, involving some recruitment and on-boarding of potential mentors. Intern will communicate with mentoring pairs and ensure that mentorships are working toward self-reliance, as well as having regular meetings. This position will provide a great opportunity to acquire experience in non-profit refugee resettlement and program coordination. For a full position description, click here.

Refugee Early employment program intern

Location: Phoenix
Hours: This intern will work at least 20 hours per week, for a minimum of four months. Work will be completed at Refugee & Immigration Office during business hours, Monday through Friday. This position may require some evening availability.
Details: This intern will work in all aspects of the Matching Grant (MG) Program, a program to provide financial assistance to newly-arrived refugees, working in partnership with the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR). An intern in this position will receive intensive training in the MG Program, as well as shadow the Matching Grant Coordinator. This position provides an opportunity to gain experience in non-profit refugee resettlement, understanding benefits, managing data and resources, and working with community partners. donor communication and retention intern

Location: Phoenix
Hours: This intern will work for 3 to 12 months, with a minimum commitment of 50-60 hours.
Details: The Donor Communication and Retention Intern will work closely with the Resource Development Manager and the Director of Development to implement donor retention strategies outlined in the Donor Retention Project plan. The intern will play a vital role in creating content and managing the automation of donor communication and recognition emails and mailings. For a full position description, click here.
