HD Web The teen years are emotionally turbulent times. Our teens are in that seemingly ‘no-man's land,' between childhood and adulthood. Sometimes teens feel like they just don't fit. One minute they want a hug or cuddle and the next they don't even want to be seen with us. A death, or any other type of loss for that matter, can intensify that ‘misfit' perception. Even adults, sometimes suffer from uncertainty as well.

HD Web Dementia and Memory Loss Later in Life

Memory loss of one degree or another is something that many older adults will experience during their lifetimes. It can be a frustrating and heart-wrenching thing both for the afflicted loved one as well as the entire family.

Slight forgetfulness is common, but extreme memory loss is not part of the aging process for most of us. If you have a family member with dementia, there is no need to feel shame or embarrassment.
