Child abuse is a big problem in Arizona. And there is something that you can do about it. At LSS-SW, we're changing the conversation. We're focusing on resilience.

Parents who can cope with the stresses of everyday life, as well as an occasional crisis, have resilience.  Café Resilience is a way for you to build your own resilience, as well as that of others'.

Training Topics at Café Resilience will include:

  • How to break the cycle of child abuse and trauma
  • 5 factors every family needs to be successful
  • How to tell your resilience story
  • How to share this message with other adults in your community by hosting your own Café Resilience

Who should attend? Ministry team leaders, women/men's group leaders, lay leaders, clergy, office manager/administrator, and anybody who wants to support families in their communities.

You are encouraged to bring a team of 2-3 people, so that you can host your own Café Resilience in your community. Having a team and hosting a future cafe is not a requirement for attending this training.
